four months.

To be perfectly honest, this month has been an absolute whirlwind. We’ve been operating on a day-by-day basis. Adjusting to life as a working mom is tough! I really enjoy having a balance, with some time outside the house and having a place to use my gifts and energy, but it has definitely been a whole different way of life to adjust to.

Amidst the whirlwind our little girl has managed to conquer her first stomach bug (not without the “poop explosion” that we have been waiting for/dreading), has been loving life at daycare with her little friends and Miss Jan, and has officially rolled over! Nothing consistent yet, but when she is feeling it, she is rolling away. Way to go, baby girl!

IMG_1853We have had our challenges this month with sleeping. Our lovely 11-hour nights of sleep have not been as consistent. Between being sick and growing, our sweet babe has lost some of her sleeping magic. But, as my wise sister said, “Nothing lasts.” As I bemoaned our full nights’ sleep, she said, “Nothing good lasts…” (wahh) “…but nothing bad lasts either.” So, while we have lost our full nights’ sleep, hopefully we won’t be getting up constantly for too much longer!

This girl just gets more and more fun. We can’t wait to see what’s next with you, little one!
